Vertafore Makes ImageRight Submission-Research Agent Generally Available

Vertafore said September 28 that its Velocity Document Intelligence Agent is generally available in ImageRight. For producers and account teams using the document platform, its submission-related use is specific: ask a question across files they are authorized to see, then trace the answer to a source document and page. Vertafore also identifies renewal preparation as a use and positions the agent for MGA and carrier teams.

The release makes document research available beyond the early-adopter stage Vertafore described on September 23. It does not announce a quoting or carrier-submission function; the agent helps users find information they may need while doing that work.

What users can ask

According to Vertafore, the agent handles natural-language questions across accessible Word files, spreadsheets, PDFs, images and email. Its document- and page-level citations give a producer a place to check an answer against the underlying file. The ImageRight product page now labels this agent “Live.”

That status is narrower than a release of every agent in Vertafore’s wider AI lineup. Its agency AI page still labels the separate Coach, Policy Intake and Policy Check agents “Early Adopter.” The company’s September 23 announcement had likewise placed Document Intelligence with early adopters before the September 28 general-availability announcement.

Vertafore reports one early-testing example in which finding information took approximately 20 minutes manually and two minutes with the agent. That comparison concerns a search task, not the time needed to produce a quote or complete a submission. The release does not provide a sample size or testing method.

Access and cost

ImageRight is the host product named in the release, and searches are limited to material a user is authorized to access. Neither the release nor the product page publishes an agent price, says whether existing ImageRight contracts include it, or explains account-level enablement. Agencies considering it can establish those terms with Vertafore before treating general availability as access for their own users.
