Applied Announces Epic Conductor for Commercial Quotes and Submission Tracking

Applied Systems announced Epic Conductor on September 29, describing an AI platform built into Applied Epic for small-commercial quoting and submission tracking. Applied says producers can initiate a quote from email or Epic, then see submission status and returned quotes in Epic. For agencies using that management system, the appeal is a closer connection between quote requests, carrier responses and account data.

The task matters to producers handling risks across multiple carriers. In Applied’s online survey of 702 independent agents who voluntarily responded in April and May 2026, 74% cited re-entering risk data in multiple carrier portals as a leading pain point. That percentage describes respondents’ experience, not time saved with Conductor.

What Applied says the workflow will cover

Beyond starting a small-commercial quote, Applied describes a submission view with status and quotes recorded in Epic. It also says producers can reuse policy data already held there when remarketing an account. Those are the functions in the announcement; Applied did not provide measured agency results for them.

The existing Epic product description already advertises commercial quoting and submissions. Conductor’s stated addition is the combination of email-initiated quoting, submission visibility and policy-data reuse within the Epic workflow.

Who can get it, and at what price?

Applied identifies Epic as the underlying platform and calls Conductor launched. Its announcement does not specify when each function becomes generally available, which Epic editions qualify, how an agency activates it or which carriers participate. It discloses no price and does not say whether access is included in an Epic subscription. An Epic agency considering the workflow will need those details to establish which quoting and submission tasks it can move into Conductor.
