Callmart Lists Screened Insurance Calls From $25; Phone Trees Count Toward Billing

Agencies can buy without a buying-desk subscription, but a call may become billable after as little as 10 seconds—including time in an answered IVR.

Callmart’s September 25 launch gives insurance agencies a new way to buy inbound calls. Its published starting prices are $25 for a screened call and $50 for a connected-TV call, with no buying-desk subscription or per-seat fee. For an agency assessing the bill, the crucial detail is that time spent in its answered phone tree counts toward the threshold for a billable call.

Callmart says buyer applications are open, with approval and campaign setup before purchases. Its initial focus is final expense, Medicare, ACA health coverage and term life. The advertised prices are starting points, not fixed quotes for every campaign.

When a call becomes billable

According to Callmart’s pricing page, connected time begins when the buyer’s destination answers. Buyers can select a buffer as short as 10 seconds. A call that goes unanswered or ends before the selected buffer is not billed. Time in an answered IVR or voicemail counts, and choosing a longer buffer carries a higher per-call price.

An approved buyer sees a campaign’s specific price and threshold before enabling it. The page’s example prices for different buffer lengths illustrate the structure; they are not live prices for every campaign. That makes the agency’s phone routing relevant to its buying decision alongside the quoted rate.

Spending controls and disputes

Callmart describes standard purchasing through a prepaid wallet and says opening an account requires no minimum spend. Its agency accounts give team members separate logins and call destinations, while owners can set daily call limits and per-member spending allowances. Optional services may carry separate charges.

The company’s support guidance describes a process for disputing a billed or misrouted call or one that fails stated campaign criteria. A submitted dispute does not automatically produce a credit. Before funding a campaign, an agency can check its actual call price, selected buffer and call-handling setup rather than relying on the advertised starting price alone.
