AgencyView Adds Print-to-Client-File Queue for Every Agency on Its Platform

AgencyView said September 29 that its new print-to-client-file workflow is available to every agency using its platform. A document printed from a Windows program enters a Needs Review queue, where staff can assign it to a client and document type or reject a non-client file. The new service route gives agencies a way to bring documents from programs they already use into client records.

For a prospective buyer, the published Starter plan is $159 per month for one agent and two customer-service seats. AgencyView also lists a 14-day trial without a credit card and annual pricing at ten times the monthly rate. Those are platform terms: the printer announcement does not specify a separate printer charge or printer-specific commitment and cancellation terms.

From the print dialog to the client file

AgencyView says the setup requires a Windows computer, the free clawPDF virtual printer and a printer key for each computer. Each print job is limited to 50 MB. Staff review a received document before filing it to a client record, rather than having every print job filed automatically.

The handling of interrupted jobs matters for offices working with sensitive files. AgencyView says a local copy is erased after receipt is confirmed. If connectivity fails, the document remains in a restricted local folder pending a retry.

AgencyView calls the printer “HIPAA-ready” and describes encryption, two-factor verification for opening documents and a record of filing actions. Its explanation distinguishes those product controls from an agency’s overall HIPAA compliance. Agencies can assess that documented workflow alongside the platform subscription terms when deciding how to handle printed client documents.
